Hello
From the outside, you look like you have it together.
You’re capable, responsible, thoughtful maybe even sensitive.
You show up for your work, your relationships, your family.
People rely on you.
You likely hold yourself to high standards and you meet them.
Inside, your mind rarely slows down.
You overthink events after they happen.
You anticipate what could go wrong.
You feel responsible for how everyone else is feeling.
You struggle to truly rest — even when nothing is technically wrong.
And part of you wonders; Why can’t I just stop feeling anxious?
If this sounds familiar, you are not broken.
Your nervous system has simply learned to stay on guard.
Hi there, I am Stacey Sciacchitano, a licensed Psychotherapist based in Southern California.
My work is rooted in the belief that anxiety is not a flaw, it is a protective system that has worked very hard for a long time.
I am passionate about helping high-functioning people, especially women, move beyond anxiety, overthinking, and fear of not being enough.
Together, we will gently explore what your anxiety has been trying to do for you, and untangle old survival patterns at your pace, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with the wise, steady part within.
You may struggle with Constant overthinking or future-tripping? OR:
-
Harsh inner critic
-
Feeling “not good enough”
-
People-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries
-
Feeling disconnected from yourself
-
High sensitivity + emotional overload
-
Holding everything together but feeling empty inside
-
Relationship conflicts rooted in old patterns
-
Procrastination or feeling stuck despite having goals
-
Big life transitions that shake your identity
-
High-functioning on the outside, overwhelmed on the inside
Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood in our work. I bring steadiness, warmth, and thoughtful challenge. I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to soften and supported enough to grow.
You are not a diagnosis and I take a transdiagnostic perspective in my work with you. Meaning I see the whole you and utilize an integrative approach to help you with all of your parts.
You do not have to keep living in overdrive.
It is possible to feel capable and at ease.
Driven and grounded.
Responsible without carrying everything alone.
Are you ready to feel less controlled by anxiety and more connected to your inner calm?
I would be honored to walk alongside you.
You don’t have to do this alone.

Stacey Sciacchitano, LMFT
You can find me out in nature, spending time laughing, playing, and being immersed in experiences with friends and family; Dancing to live music, engaged in meditation classes, honoring my self on the yoga mat, working out with weights, hiking and going for walks, reading and listening about psychology and humans.
I love animals and mother nature to my core.

Julia
"I, very much, like speaking with Stacey. She is very understanding and knows exactly when to use probing questions to help get to the root of what is it you are truly seeking help with. I appreciate all she's already helped me with in the short time that we have been partnered together and I look forward to continuing to work together. Thank you Stacey."
Linda
"Stacey is a great listener. I felt validated and it was easy to talk to her. I may have not always agreed (and she made it apparent that I didn't have to) but she cares and that is evident. I feel better about myself and I have learned tools I can take forward."
